She was predeceased by: her husband John; her daughter Laura Bates (late Donald); and her sister Carole Simon. She is survived by: her children, Karen O'Neill (late Patrick), Leslie Lang (William) and John F. Miller III; her grandchildren, Brandon Berkebile, Patrick F. O'Neill III, Kelly O'Neill (David) and William F. Lang V; her great grandchildren, Damien, Lucy and Sebastian; her sister Kimberly Knable (Michael); her nieces, Justine Maloney (Terrence) and Jillian Patrycy (Michael); and her nephew Joseph Knable (Tara).
Memorial contributions can be made to Stand Up To Cancer, Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network, or a charity of one's choice in Joan's name.
