He was predeceased by: his spouse Bertie Jeanne; his parents, Ed Moroney and Ada Mae Moroney; and his sister Patricia Todd. He is survived by: his children, Heather Sobiski (Jason) and James A. Moroney (Jill); his grandchildren, Tristin (Austin), Sloan (Kira), Angus, Maeve, Adoniyahu Sobiski, Aidan and Collin Moroney; and his great grandchild Arden Gaitan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home of Lakewood (14133 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Christopher Church (20141 Detroit Rd, Rocky River, OH 44116).
