He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Ibby"; and his parents, Gordon Murphy and Anna Murphy. He is survived by: his daughters, Therese Eagle-Man (Eagle) and Mary Toth (Joseph); his granddaughters, Jennifer Borchardt and Kellie Toth; and his great grandchildren, Austen Borchardt, Dustin Ellison, Mikayla Borchardt, Brandon Borchardt and Hailey Borchardt.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home of Lakewood (14133 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Church (17514 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107). A burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Western Reserve National Cemetery.
