She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard and Marian; and her brother Ted Hilfiker. She is survived by: her siblings, David Hilfiker (Marja), David Cronk (Ellen), Lois Kanter (Fred), Barbara Zaugg (Charles) and Laurie Francois (Paul); and her sibling-in-law Geri Nolan Hilfiker.
After moving to Lakewood in her retirement, Ellen ("Nell") became a dedicated member of Church of the Redeemer UCC in Westlake, OH where contributions may be made in her memory.
