As we bid Douglas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Douglas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judith E. Ely; his children, Shawn Ely, Karen Ely and Evan Ely (Kristi); and his grandchildren, Colin Ely (Paige), Connor Ely, Declan King, Terefech King and Greyson Ely.
