He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his children, Christine and Alan Jr. (Joann); his sisters, Suzanne Armstrong (Richard) and Jane Anne Moriarty; his aunt Cecilia K.; his brother Robert J. Moriarty; his sister-in-law Hilde Iwasyszyn (Tom); and his nieces and nephews, Julie Armstrong, Richard Armstrong, Scott Ritzmann and Julie Stewart.
