He was predeceased by: his parents, Arly Smith and Annabelle Smith (Phillips); and his siblings, Alice Coffield, Wanda McClain, Martha "Marcella" Goossens, Corretta Anderson, Dorothy Little, Franis McElroy, Glenn Smith, Earl Smith and Merle Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Smith; his children, Sherry Smith-Miller (Steven), Melissa Smith-Flinner (Ed), Michael Smith (Jolene) and Mitchell Smith (Brandy); his grandchildren, Bryan Miller, Christoper Miller, Ashley Vanderburgh (Richard), Kole Flinner, Kody Finner, Shelby Smith-Yoder (Jacob), Carson Smith, Aiden Smith and Grayson Smith; and his great grandchild Addilyn Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (46 Co Rd 2575, Lakeville, OH 44638).
