He is survived by: his girlfriend Carol Marie Schmelzer; his children, Kurt Porter (Jennifer) of Mogadore, Kyle Porter of Massillon and Kassie Porter of Lakeville; his grandson Kip Porter; and his siblings, Richard Porter (Bonnie) of Lakeville and Rhonda Morris (Ted) of Millersburg.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to any agricultural organization, as farming was his life.
