He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Swiger and Ethel Parks Swiger; his former wife Susan Swiger; his children, Richard Swiger and Diana Swiger; his sister Joanna Filburn; and his grandson Jon Michael Schoolcraft.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Swiger; his daughters, Melinda Hartman of Wapak, Cindy Hooker (Randy) of Lima and Connie Swiger of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Megan, Melissa, Kevin and Tracey; and his brother Jim Swiger of Sidney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
