She was predeceased by: her parents, Anderson Tipton and Nancy Jane Hicks Thomas; her husband George Burton; and her grandson Andy Burton. She is survived by: her son William Burton; her grandchildren, Linda Overs (Dale), Nancy Hower, Pat, Donna, Chad, Julie, Bryan and Kyle; and her brothers, Norman Thomas and Bradley Thomas. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
