He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo, Sr. Hangholt and Myrtle Piper Hangholt; his brother Terry Piper; and his grandson Logan Hangholt. He is survived by: his wife Theresa McCafferty; his children, Timothy J. Hangholt of Lakeview, Brandy L. Homan (John II) of Reynolds, IN and Troy A. Hangholt (Kathy) of Belle Center, OH; his grandchildren, John D. Homan III, Wyatt N. Homan, Seth M. Homan, Sierra B. Homan, Abbagail Hangholt and Jacob Hangholt; his great grandchildren, Iva Boer, Liam Adugalski, Bradley Homan and Ily Homan; and his sister Cheryl McCafferty (Steve, Sr.). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
