Blackburn Emerson of Lakeview, Ohio, born in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene George and Nola E. Connor DesCombes; her former husband Howard C. Blackburn; and her brothers, Edward Eugene DesCombes and Martin Lewis DesCombes.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert J. Blackburn (Karen) of Lakeview, Mark C. Blackburn (Rebecca) of Botkins, OH and Jon E. Blackburn (Kimberly) of Lakeview; her grandchildren, Christi Compton (Austin), Staci Severt, Jason Blackburn (Julie), Carly Bailey (Jason), Linsey Titus (Nate), Tyler Blackburn (Natalie), Salah Greutman (Sergei), Jeshuah Blackburn, Shekinah Dodds (Jordan) and Corinne Nielsen (Casey); and her sisters, Nora Myers, Jeneane Lesko, Linda Lewandoaski and Barbara Tassell. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Joy's memory to Only Believe Ministries.
