George Metz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Metz of Lakeview, Ohio, born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, who passed away on December 16, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Metz and Lenore Metz (Barnhart); his wife Joanne Ferguson; and his siblings, Lorraine Spencer, Allie Diehl, Charlene Mitchell and Earl Metz.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Boyer (John) of Godsden, AL, Jeff Metz (Pam) and Melinda Mattox (Taylor); his stepdaughter Deborah Tussing of Jackson Center, OH; his grandchildren, Mike, Deidra, Darrin, Megan, Jason, Joshua, Julia, Caroline, Scott and Matthew; and his brother Arthur Metz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to state Covid-19 pandemic guidelines, attendees are asked to be symptom free, maintain social distancing and wear a facial covering.
Memorial Contributions may be given in Joanne's name to Indian Lake Community Church.
