He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil T. Oakley and Elsie Cummins Oakley; his son Randy Oakley; his granddaughter Holly Oakley; and his siblings, Cecil H. Oakley, Ronald Oakley, Jimmy J. Oakley and Judy K. Trent.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Longbrake; his daughter Kathy McVety (Jeremy Tidd) of Santa Fe; his grandchildren, Erica Oakley, Tim McVety (Chelsea), Jenna Kite (Jesse), Brad Oakley (Sara) and Jaime Spofford (Steve); and his great grandchildren, Kaya, Aliyah, Ella, Blake, Zeke, Luke, Jace, Lindsey, Stevie and Makenna. He is also survived by friend.
