With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce Allen Bump of Lakeview, Ohio, born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, who passed away on May 18, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Bump and Thelma Bodey Bump; his wife Loretta Jean Blevins; and his brother John Bump. He is survived by: his children, Megan Caudill (John) of Hilliard, OH, Sonya Jennings of Lakeview, Shane Slagle of Bellefontaine and Travis Slagle (Kristina) of Bellefontaine; his grandchildren, Alyssa Caudill, Micah Caudill, Ian Jennings, Hayden Webb, Khloie Slagle, Jeremy Balenger and Quinn Slagle; and his siblings, Ellen Hammond of Bellefontaine, Carole Wilson of Bellefontaine, Jim Bump (Sue) of Urbana, OH, Marion Bump (Karen) of Richwood, OH and Wayne Bump (Cheryl) of Dublin, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given in Bruce's memory to Hope Harbor Baptist Church or Logan County Cancer Society.
