He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Novotny and Jennie Novotny (Harnad); and his siblings, Edward, Paul, Joseph, Raymond Novotny, Germaine Ontko, Julia Gdovicak and Grace Stofka. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
