He is survived by: his wife Mary Lavelle; his pet Molly; his daughter Nancy Valentine (Terry); his grandsons, Oscar and Joe; his daughters, Susan Smalling (David Ullman) and Kendra Murphy (Patrick); his grandchildren, Owen and Maddie; his daughter Meg Roko Willie (Scott); and his siblings, Jack Smalling (Margaret) and Nancy Pasley (Robert).
