He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd H. Hamann and Lillian Hamann (Ontko); and his siblings, William Hamann, Mary Ann Hamann, Patricia Mae Warnke and Elona Holeman.

He is survived by: his wife Roxanne; his children, Sandy Hamann (Katie) and Christine Meek (Brad) of Port Clinton; and his great grandchildren, Stephen Weaver, Jewel and Juliette Hamann.
