It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Nason of Lakeside Marblehead, Ohio, born in Port Clinton, Ohio, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Nason and Geraldine Nason (Lucas); and his wife Dorothea Nason (Laubacher). He is survived by: his children, Douglas Nason (Leigh Ann) of Fremont and Melissa Portales (Nel) of Port Clinton; his grandchildren, Amber Portales (Kelsey), Brandon Portales (Megan), Paige Portales, Cheyenne Smith (Craig), Tyler Waggoner Nason and Enrique Portales (Sydney); his great grandchildren, Alaina Smith, Weston Smith, Kaiser Smith, Zander Portales, Cora Mae Portales and Theordore Haig-Portales; his siblings, Carolyn Castle of Sandusky, OH, Robert Nason of Cleveland, OH, Edward Nason of Clewiston, FL, Frances Nason (Robyn) of Port Clinton, OH, Anna May of Oak Harbor, OH and Richard Reiling of Wisconsin; and also Kim Warwick (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
