He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Triplett and Banes Triplett; his wife Barbara Triplett; his son Cecil; and his siblings, Carl "Budge", Clifford, Arch, Walter, Bobbie Damon, Arnold "Jerry", Maysel, Mamie, Mabel and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Del, Steve (Gail), Ruth Ann, Patty (Bill), Sherri (Trent) and Debbie; his brothers, Earl Glenn "Bill" Triplett and Banes Franklin "Frank" Triplett; and his close friend Ellyn Joyner. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.
