He was predeceased by: his wives, Bernice Lemmon and Karen Lemmon; his parents, Thomas "Ed" Lemmon and Ina A. Smith; and his siblings, Maryann Armstrong and Jack Lemmon.

He is survived by: his daughters, Colleen Scionti and Melissa McNeil; his grandsons, Jimmy Scionti and Matthew Scionti; and his siblings, Darlene Teeters, Bill and Bob Lemmon.
