Manuel Avery Nix Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2023, at the age of 101, Manuel Avery Nix of Lake Milton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, W. Jess Nix and Litha Nix (McClure); his daughter JoAnn Colla (Nicholas E., III) of Lake Milton, OH; his stepsons, Jackie Wines and Todd Wines of Canton, NC; his wife Norma Stiles; and his children, Geraldine M. Sumner and Michael J. Nix. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting material tributes take the form of contributions to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 2431 NC-294, Murphy, NC 28906 in memory of Avery.
