He was predeceased by: his parents, Vince Strauss and Gladys Strauss (Stang); his brother Mark Strauss; and his sister-in-law Carol Hrivnak. He is survived by: his wife Marie (Short); his daughter Amanda; his son-in-law Jason Loyer; his brother Jay Strauss (Gwyn); his nieces and nephews, Pam Strauss (Ken Campana), Nicole McDonald (Korey), Ashley Strauss, Jon Strauss, Brandon King (Selina) and Geramy Detwiler; his parents-in-law, Mauren Weikel and Frank Short; his sisters-in-law, Julie Detwiler (Ray Mass), Nancy Tucker (JC) and Margo Zatyko; and his family University Hospital St John.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Achieve Credit Union 546 North Center Street LaGrange, OH 44050 for a trade scholarship to be established in Kim's memory.
