It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benson K. Carey of Lafayette, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Carey (Snyder); his wife Joyce Carey (Kisner); his son Mark Carey; and his brother-in-law Jim Lawrence. He is survived by: his father Stephen L. Carey; his son Steve Carey (Becky); his daughter-in-law Lori Carey; his sisters, Janice Lawrence and Dawn Dodds (Scott); his grandchildren, Mitchell Carey (Angela), Garrett Carey (Courtney), Stephannie Carey and Trenton Carey (Caitlyn); and his great grandchildren, Theadora Raber, Penelope Raber, Malachi Carey, Silas Carey, Israel Carey and Benson Carey.

Memorial contributions may be made to County Line Church of the Brethren.
