She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Snare and Dorothy Snare (Albert); and her siblings, Paul, Earl, Eloise Snare and Marilyn Clayton.

She is survived by: her husband James R. Young; her daughters, Sandra Creamer (Dan Bowersmith) of Kenton and Brenda Windoffer (Ben) of Marion; her grandchildren, Shaye, Seth Creamer, Tyler, Riley and Mya Brown; and her brother Charles Snare (Pat) of Marion.
