With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joy Preston (La Rue, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jerry Bowles and Shirley (Burbaugh); her stepfather Daniel Schroll; her stepbrother Danny Schroll; her brother-in-law Steve Duprey; her son Matthew Sigler of LaRue; and her siblings, Jay Bowles (Sandy) of Lewistown, Scott Bowles (Brenda) of Marysville, Teri Duprey of Prospect and Jaxon Bowles (Candy) of Toledo.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home (210 S High St, La Rue, OH 43332). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
