He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Jay and Eileen Frances Lashaway (Myers); his former wife Nora Wyatt; and his brothers, Lowell and Paul "Wally" Lashaway.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Champion (Chad) of Fayette; his grandchildren, Chad Champion, Jr. of Toledo, Alaina Wheeler (Hunter) of West Unity and Jacob Champion of Fayette; his great grandchild Carter Wheeler; his siblings, Ruth Maninan (Methi) of Lampang, Thailand, Duane Lashaway (Beth) of Wauseon and Kevin Lashaway of Pioneer; and his pet Woodruff. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in his memory to Paws with Cause, 4646 S. Division, Wayland, MI 49348.
