He is survived by: his wife Kim Bare (Reed); his siblings, Lana Freeman of Ironton and Eddie Cooper of Gaffney, SC; his parents-in-law, Lee Reed of Kitts Hill and Elaine Reed of Kitts Hill; his stepson David McKee of Kitts Hill; his grandchildren, Justin McKee of Kitts Hill and Amelia McKee of Proctorville; his friend Valerie Crank of Proctorville; his uncles, Paul and Larry Bare; and his aunt Georgeanne Rockwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
