He was predeceased by: his parents, Griffith Hackworth and Anna Mae Adams (Webb). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hackworth (Stapleton); his daughter Kiplyn Jenkins (Kip) of Kitts Hill; his son-in-law Gary Jenkins of Kitts Hill; and his siblings, Kiplyn Heighton (David) of South Point and Tommy Crace of Ironton. He is also survived by six nieces, two nephews, and twelve great nieces and nephews.
