He was predeceased by: his parents, Lovus Brewer and Vernie Marcum Brewer; and his siblings, Ermal, James, Bruce and Peggy Brewer Holley.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Webb Brewer; his children, Stephanie Brewer, Christopher Brewer, Lovus Eugene "Blue" Brewer of Kermit, WV and Cliff Allen of Lewisburg, WV; his siblings, Birdie Brewer of Columbus, OH, Nettie Mae Dillion, Freda Williamson of Louisa, KY, Edna Belle Arms, Bonnie Crank of Kermit, WV and Ernestine Parsley of Lenore, WV; and his close friend Hearl Adkins. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
