He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Mootz and Laura Mootz (McConnel); his siblings, Daniel Mootz, Marie Mootz, Carroll Mootz, Charles Mootz, Robert Mootz, Nancy Harrison, Duane Mootz, John Mootz and Joyce Gannon; and his grandson Jason Allen Gore.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Raye Edwards Mootz; and his children, Dale Allen Mootz of Pedro, Leah Rae Mootz Gore of Wheelersburg, Joanna Gaye Mootz Tickle of Goshen, OH and Shawn David Mootz of Milford, OH. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
