He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Reed and Roberta Reed (Kingery); and his siblings, Darlene Stewart, Ruth Ferguson, Earl, Lawrence and Claudie Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Reed (Anderson); his sisters, Dorothy Hardy of Myrtle Ridge and Flora Belle Barker of Ravenswood, WV; his children, Kim Bare of Kitts Hill and Larry Reed of Tuscon, AZ; his grandson David McKee of Proctorville; his great grandchildren, Justin of Proctorville and Amelia McKee of Proctorville; and his stepgranddaughter Catlyn Wurts of Proctorville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
