With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Leighty of Kitts Hill, Ohio, born in Scottown, Ohio, who passed away on January 9, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alden Zimmerman and Wilma Callicoat (Hesson); and her former husband David Leighty. She is survived by: her children, Glenda Mays (Billy) of Kitts Hill and Fred Griffith (Ellen) of Pittsboro; her brother Ermit Zimmerman (Retha) of Fairburn, Georgia.; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Caleb, Mike Griffith, Krystal Vanderbilt, Dustin Mays, Amanda Bailey and Mike Mays. She is also survived by twenty-seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
