He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hickey and Elsie Hickey (Holder). He is survived by: his wife Mary (Hainsworth); his children, John (Priya) and Ali Short (Theron); his grandchildren, Max, Arya, Victor, Arvin and Katie; his siblings, Joe Hickey (Carol) and Claire Hilbert; his nephew Jospeh; and his nieces, Kathy Ann, Linda and Christine.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the Scholarship fund at The Ohio State University.
