It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Spears of Kirkersville, Ohio, who passed away on July 12, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Tammy; his parents, Sue Shaw (Bob) and David 'Sonny' Spears (Nancy); and his siblings, Samantha Nethers and Jeff Shaw.

He is survived by: his son Gabe Spears; his stepdaughter Ginger Tigner; his grandchildren, Austin and Abigail Tigner; and his siblings, Paul Spears, Bobby Shaw, Bernard Rutherford, Joe Schotta, David Spears Jr., Louise Crace (Jim), Linda Spears, Karen Spears, Sharon Banks, Lisa Kopp (Kurt) and Tina Mortimer (John).
