It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Groot of Kipton, Ohio, born in Oberlin, Ohio, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Griffin Groot and Grace Groot; and his sister Marilyn Immler. He is survived by: his wife Betty "Betts" Groot; and his siblings, Gordon Groot (Ruth) of Oberlin and Marilee Lelak (Mike) of Columbus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
