He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Kennedy and Barbara Kennedy (Smith); his daughter Norma Jean Kennedy; and his siblings, Earl, Eldridge, Charlie "Junior" Kennedy, Mary Louise Yannuzzi and Pearl Shipley.
He is survived by: his wife June Marie Buckley; and his children, Patsy Kennedy, Julie Jopko (Greg) and John Kennedy, Jr..
