She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hanson and Clara Hanson (Scott); and her siblings, Agnes Hruska, Ruby Hruska Williams, Anna Moffitt, Arlene Stasny, Donald Hanson and Jack Hanson.
She is survived by: her husband James Shirk; her children, Norman Shirk (Judy) of Allen, Texas and Virginia Edixon (Brian) of Sheffield Township; her grandsons, Andrew Shirk and Brandon Shirk; and her siblings, Shirley Smith of Florida, Esther Jurcenko of Iowa, Mary Dumperth of Geneva and Jim Hanson of Jefferson.
