He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Carter and Golda Carter (Crabtree); and his siblings, Edward, Delores and Jewel (Carol).
He is survived by: his wife Betty June Carter; his children, Pamela Vollmar (John Overly), Bethanie Carter and Angela Martin (Brian); his grandchildren, Trey Vollmar (Mariel), Haylee Vollmar (Jevan Stewart), Delaney Tittel, Braeden Martin and Kayden Tittel; his great grandchildren, Ella Johnson, Bentlee Stewart and Jax Vollmar; his sister Dorothy Coates; and his brother-in-law Roger Weaver (Rita).
