He was predeceased by: his parents, Glover Simon and Ida Mae Routte; his siblings, Donald, Hermione Ramsey and Betty Miller; and his half-siblings, Fern Bethel, Mary Elizabeth Smith and Wallace Routte.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Crosby); his daughters, Yolanda Routte (Jack Roush) and Kelly Ludwig (David); his grandchildren, Christopher Ray Wemer (Siarra), Zachary and Emilee Ludwig; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Thompson (Gary) and Nicholas Ludwig; his great grandchildren, Nayeli and Tripp; and his sister Norma Jean "Dean" Hensel. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
