It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Rittenhouse of Kingston, Ohio, born in Clarksburg, Ohio, who passed away on December 13, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Eugene Rittenhouse and Freda Mae Rittenhouse Justice (Payne); his wife Martha J. Rittenhouse (Chester); his son Jerry (E. Rittenhouse, Jr.); his brother Larry Rittenhouse; and his pets, Poncho and Pepi.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Jane Speirs (Scott); his grandchildren, Sarah Mangus (Cory), Matthew Scott Shoemaker (Tasha), Ryan Speirs (Leigh) and Courtney Williams (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Alaina, Landon, Nathan, Kaley, Ava, Hudson, Ryleigh and Rosalee Jade; his sister Sherry Gallagher (Michael); his nieces, Andrea Reed and Melissa Rutter; and his close friends, Lee Jenkins, Dean Congrove, Paul Reed and Brian Leanard.
