She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Steinbrook and Ocie Steinbrook (Allman); her husband Francis Sherman Strausbaugh; her daughter Sharon Dee; and her siblings, Fred Steinbrook (Charity), Loretta Strausbaugh (Don) and Phyllis Upton (Charles).
She is survived by: her daughter Jodi L. Carter of Kingston; her granddaughter Ashley Willard (Andy); her great grandchildren, Alexia and Ava; her brother Ronald Steinbrook (Janet) of Chillicothe; and her close friends, Jan Ramsey, Sharon Dailey and Karen Streitenberger. She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hill Funeral Home (24 W Ing St, Kingston, OH 45644). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn's honor to the Ross County Humane Society (2308 Lick Run Road, Chillicothe, OH 45601) or a preferred charity.
