He was predeceased by: his father Frank D. Nelson; and his grandparents, Pirl, Cloma Orr, Vera and Paul McCullough Grant.

He is survived by: his mother Ruth B. Nelson (Orr) of Kimbolton; his siblings, Deborah Murray (Craig) of Kimbolton and Daniel Nelson (Cheri) of Springfield; his nephews, Joe Murray (Karen), Matt Murray, Sam Murray and Andy Nelson (Kathy); his niece Rebecca Moorman (Phil); and his pet Heidi. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles; cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to Clearfork Cemetery 72193 Parker Road Kimbolton, Ohio 43749.
