He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herbert and Hazel Annie Gump (Louth); his son David Earl Gump; and his siblings, Henry Gump, Samuel Gump and Vivian Taylor (Gump).
He is survived by: his wife Dolly Gump (Byard); and his children, Peggy Jane May (Chuck) of New Philadelphia, Raymond Allen Gump (Teresa) of Kimbolton, Steven James Gump (April) of Kimbolton and Wendy Ann Brown (Doug) of Kimbolton. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
