He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Dewey Cottrell and Lillie Lane Cottrell; his wife Linda Maxwell Cottrell; his son Robert McCoid; his siblings, Raymond Cottrell, Haymond Cottrell, Norma Woods, Alberta Stump and Jean Trail; and his grandsons, Shane Cottrell, Anthony Cottrell and Allen Wagner.
He is survived by: his children, Andy Cottrell, Mary Wagner and Pam Waldie; his siblings, Marvin Cottrell, Calvin Cottrell and Violet Wallace; and his granddaughters, Andrea Cottrell and Kayla Wagner. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
