She was predeceased by: her parents, Shim Beck-Gil and Ahn Soon-Yean. She is survived by: her husband Michael Stringfellow; her children, Angela Stringfellow of Dublin and Kevin Stringfellow (Jennifer) of St Louis, Missouri; and her brother Shim Tae-Jin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to The James Cancer Hospital, Thoracic Oncology Center, PO Box 183112, Columbus, OH 43218-3112.
