With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Akins of Killbuck, Ohio, born in Blissfield, Ohio, who passed away on April 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto B. Akins and Florence P. Akins (Van Kannel); his wife Janet R. Schmidt; his siblings, Adelaide Lawson and Charles Akins (Janice); and his nieces, Alexis Lawson and Ruthann.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Laraine Lawson of Corning, Garney Otto Lawson of Coshocton, Benny C. Lawson of Coshocton, Mary of Dayton and Margie of Cleveland. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Killbuck United Methodist Church.
