He was predeceased by: his parents, Tab Tabereaux and Garnie Tabereaux (Parker); his stepfather Garnie Marshall (Glenn); and his siblings, Charlotte Black, Agnis Catlin, Glenny Marshall, James Beckett, Alton Tabereaux and Hubert Beckett.

He is survived by: his son Donovan of Columbus; and his siblings, Freddie Beckett, Donald Beckett and Junior Beckett (Jimmie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
