She was predeceased by: her father Marvin Bartel (Stoltzfus); and her brother Marvin Bartel. She is survived by: her son Michael A. Sohar of Kidron; her husband Jan Sohar of Kidron; and her siblings, Jane Haught (Scott) of Gap Pennsylvania, Margaret Freed of Lebanon Pennsylvania, Rose Weaver (Mike) and Albert Bartel (Marilyn). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Mennonite Church of Kidron, Library Department or the Women in Mission.
