She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenny Prater and Zeallie Jo Prater (Jones); and her sisters, Wanda Prater, Vicky Prater and Mae Elder.

She is survived by: her children, Shane Purcell (Raymond) of Centerton, AR, Zeallie Prater of Ada and Michelle Lowery (Adam) of Wapakoneta; her grandchildren, Cheyanne, Jazlynn, Destiny, Dakota, Aaron, Hannah and Nathan; and her siblings, Kenneth Prater (Angie) of Foraker, Peggy Currence (Howard) of Roundhead, Shelly Wrenchy of Lima, Tonya Prater of Jumbo and Linda Wilson of Kenton. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
